Just to give an idea of other ways we expose our students to life as a massage therapist ...

At SOOTHING ARTS HEALING THERAPIES the learning experience goes far beyond the classroom.  The student will have the opportunity to work with "OUTREACH" which can range from chair massages for patrons of local seminars to working with athletes at the world famous GULF COAST IRONMAN competition in Panama City, Fl.  This is a great time for the students to sharpen their skills and meet the public while providing a valuable service to the community.  The students also receive experience working with the public while supervised by their licensed instructor in our clinical spa environment and our occasional Open House.

Our School News:

• We would like to Congratulate Jonny(2010) and Jeff Shidemantle (2011), Sons of our Administrator, Stacy Shidemantle, on their Graduation from Marine Boot Camp! Semper Fi!

• Congratulations to LCpl Eric and Monica Shidemantle (Son and Daughter in law of Stacy Shidemantle) as they celebrate their wedding Sept 6, 2011.  And, Safe Keeping as Eric travels overseas with the Marines.

• Our Evening Swedish Massage Instructor, April Wingo, just announced her engagement and we would like to wish her the best and Congratulations to her and her new Fiancé!

• The Marketing Administrator, Chelsy Brotten, had her baby boy March 15th at 3:30. Congrats on a beautiful new addition to your family!

• Soothing Arts is excited to announce that we were voted 2010 Best of Business by the Small Business Commerce Association and were given an award of recognition!
