Q: Is Soothing Arts an Accredited College Program?
A: No, We are a state licensed educational facility that exceeds state requirements for Georgia and Florida.


Q: Is Financial Aid Accepted?
A: Not unless it is military related, MYCAA & GI Bill. Pell Grants and other scholarships and loans are not accepted by our program. Some scholarships pay directly to the student for living and student expenses, those scholarships are accepted but the research must be done by the student for eligibility.


Q: How should payments be made?
A: We accept several methods of payment, Monthly, Weekly and split payments (half in the beginning and the other half in the middle) are generally the most popular. We accept Cash, Personal Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and America Express as well as Cashiers' checks. There is a $5 late fee for not paying on time.


Q: How Big are the Class Sizes?
A: In the Massage Program class sizes are typically between 5 and 15 students; Skin Care has smaller class sizes, usually consisting of about 4 to 10 students.


Q: Is Massage Therapy an Actual "Therapy", beyond just relaxation?
A: Yes! Massage is beneficial for all kinds of ailments: Muscle Tension, Pregnancy discomfort, Reducing blood pressure, Increasing circulation, Immune System strength, Stress relief, Rehab for injury or post operative pain as well as assisting in premature baby weight gain and many other fantastic benefits.


Q: What is a Skin Care Specialist?
A: A person who specializes in Skin Care and Facials, often referred to as an esthetician. Also trained in Waxing, Back Facials, Microderm, make-up application and Peels.


Q: Where is work as a Massage Therapist and/or Skin Care Specialist?
A: You have a ton of options! You can own your own business, work at a spa or salon, doctor's offices, hospitals, cruise ships, Some business offices, and many, many other places.


Q: What Should I wear to class?
A: Just be comfortable! We do not require you to wear scrubs and there is no uniform on class room days, the only time we ask you to wear anything specific is on clinic days and during Outreach. We then require you to wear comfortable kaki pants and your school polo shirt or otherwise professional comfortable attire.
