Where we explore the healing world of nail, skincare, and massage therapist classes throughout Santa Rosa Beach, Walton County, Okaloosa County, and Bay County, FL!
Our students receive all the instruction required to satisfy state and national requirements, giving them each the tools to pass the national certification exam or any of the other exams accepted by the state of Florida.
The students receive training in the Swedish technique and other allied modalities (i.e. Reflexology, Sports Massage, Lomi-lomi etc.{varies per class}) as well as hydrotherapy and additional spa training.
Total instruction for the program exceeds Florida requirements by 10%, at 546 hours.
Our convenient part-time evening massage classes require 7 months for completion, day massage classes require 5 months (Full time).
Massage Classes
With a well qualified staff, the student is assured of the most in-depth instruction possible. Students may choose from day or evening massage therapist classes, or opt for a slower paced program to fit their schedule.
Massage Classes
A career in massage therapy is fun, exciting and varied. Massage Therapists find employment in private practice, salons, spas & resorts, on cruise ships, with athletes, in hospitals, with chiropractors & physical therapists. They also work on-site offering massage to people in their homes or to employers/employees at their place of business.
Soothing Arts Healing Therapies School of Massage & Skin Care is approved for MYCAA, the Post 9-11 Bill, and the Montgomery G.I. Bill. Weekly or monthly payment plans may also be arranged. This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. The fees for Florida licensure & certification exams are paid to the Florida Department of Health and the NCBTMB or FSMTB respectively, upon graduation. Taking a certification exam is required for Florida licensure.
Soothing Arts Healing Therapies School of Massage & Skin Care prepares each student to take his/her certification exam (required for licensure). Upon graduation you will be well trained in Swedish Massage, spa therapies, and have had an introduction to various other modalities. Our school is unique because we have a Massage Day Spa in the front portion of the building. This provides a more enriching learning experience for the massage therapy student. We may hold some student clinics there. This gives our students hands-on experience working in a real spa-like environment, in turn, making an easier transition to a massage practice after graduation.
As of today, our rate of employment for Soothing Arts Healing Therapies School of Massage & Skin Care students after graduating and passing a certification exam is near 100%.

In order to maintain your Florida license, you must have 24 hours of continuing education classes (CEU’s) every two years. Here at Soothing Arts Healing Therapies School of Massage & Skin Care, we offer continuing education. Please contact the school office for details.
